# Windows HTML2PDF in Azure

## Windows HTML2PDF in Azure

**Azure Web Applications** The latest Apryse SDK HTML2PDF module is based on Chromium. Chromium will not currently run in an Azure Web Application for the Windows operating system. This means the Windows HTML2PDF Chromium module will not run as well. It is recommended that you use the Linux HTML2PDF Chromium module for Azure Web Applications in a Linux custom container or if you must run your application on a Windows operating sytem the Apryse HTML2PDF legacy module is available. Information on running the Chromium module on a Linux distribution can be found in these documents.
