Documentation Collaboration on iOS

Apryse includes full support for realtime collaboration, making it easy synchronize annotations and messages from multiple users on a central copy of a document.

The Apryse API was designed to support any back-end (central server), enabling realtime collaobraiton with pre-existing infrastructure or whatever is best for your project.

The sample app Collaboration Sample, included with the .dmg download, demonstrates realtime collaboration using two different back-end servers: One uses a demonstration instance of Apryse's WebViewer Server (distributed as a Docker container), and the other uses Google's Firebase Realtime Database.

See the next sections provide detailed instructions on how to run the samples, and for how to add support for your own back-end server.
