Question:
We are receiving error: Unable to load layout font metrics.... when using office conversion APIs.
Answer:
Call AppUtils.initializePDFNetApplication(context) in onCreate of your MainApplication before any Apryse calls. This is not required if you are using auto initialization, however required otherwise.
