Documentation Collaboration in Xamarin

Apryse includes full support for realtime collaboration, which lets many users view the same PDF, Office or image file at the same time across their devices and communicate via comments, highlights, signatures and other annotations, making it easy synchronize annotations and messages from multiple users on a central copy of a document.

The Apryse API was designed to support any back-end (central server), enabling realtime collaboration with pre-existing infrastructure or whatever is best for your project

There are several aspects of realtime collaboration covered in this section:

  • Handling incoming annotation data from the server
  • Sending client annotation data to the server
  • Customizing the annotation reply UI

See the next sections provide detailed instructions on how to run the samples, and for how to add support for your own back-end server.
