WebViewer Server is the Apryse SDK and custom Java code built in Apache Tomcat to allow server requests to the Apryse SDK. The WebViewer Server was designed to work together with the WebViewer client to give an ideal document experience.

WebViewer Server uses a Linux Docker container built on Debian 9. A container is similar to a virtual machine, but allows for a more fluid experience with a smaller performance hit. This container comes preconfigured with the required dependencies and options for it to work directly from the download.
An installer built for Windows which integrates the various WebViewer Server parts, similar to how our container handles WebViewer Server. This was made for users who cannot use Docker in their environments. See more information at WebViewer Server Windows Installer guide .
